The employer of the project, the contract of which was signed on 05.02.2025, is Eti Maden General Directorate. In the facility where a production capacity of 5000 tons / year is foreseen, 2 rotary drum static fluidized bed furnaces will be built within the Project. The facility consists of 6 main units: Raw Material Storage Section, Raw Material Preparation Section, Raw Material Weighing and Feeding Section, Bulk & Cooling Section, Crushing & Screening Section and Packaging Section.

Boron oxide, which has a widespread and specific area of ​​use such as glass, ceramics, boron chemicals, metallurgy, electricity and electronics, is used in glass production as a substance that reduces the melting point and increases the thermal expansion coefficient; in the production of ceramic and enamel glazes, to regulate the thermal expansion coefficient between the glaze and the material it is coated with, to ensure that the glaze has a high refractive index, to increase the mechanical properties and scratch resistance of the glaze, to increase the resistance to water and chemicals; as a catalyst in the production of inorganic compounds such as boron hydrides, boron nitrides and organic boron compounds such as boric acid esters in the production of boron chemicals; as a flux in the metallurgy sector since it is a good solvent for metal oxides; and in the production of Ga-As (Gallium-Arsenic) in the electrical and electronics sectors.
