The employer of the project, whose contract was signed on 17.01.2022, is the  is the General Directorate of Eti Maden. In the facility, which is projected to produce 500 tons / year capacity, 1 submerged arc quarry will be built that can produce 2500 kg of products per day within the project. The property consists of 7 main units:  Raw Material Storage Department, Raw Material preparation department, raw material weighing and feeding section, melting section, Bulk & Cooling Department, Crushing & Screening Section and Packaging department.

Ferrobor, which has a wide and specific usage area such as solid rocket fuels, explosives, superconductors, neutron absorbers, pyrotechnic mixers, refractory and metal borides, is an important raw material production facility to be built for the first time in Turkey, as well as an important technology transfer from China for the future of Turkey, constitutes an important cornerstone for the Turkey of the future.
